The Way to Happy

I want to live this life the best I can,
I don’t want to fall apart
I want to help myself and help my friends,
put light where there is dark
I don’t steal, I don’t lie,
you can trust me I would fight 
For you, for everything I believe, Oh
I don’t want to die, I’m not
trying to hurt myself with no reason why
I’ll work harder every day

I’ll meet you on the way to happy
I’ll see you under perfect skies
The future is looking bright and healthy
And that’s where I’ll be

I save my loving for my perfect one,
I know I’ll meet him here one day
We’ll build a life, make a family,
help make the world a better place
But truth is a must,
I want a government that I can trust
Not one that puts us on our knees, no
Won’t rest till it’s done,
we’ve got to make this world a better one
Where every man is strong and free
